The closing meeting of the "Vocational Network for Railway Engineers" (Rail-Ing Network) Project, which was prepared by the "Association of Railway Engineers" in the Vocational Education Strategic Partnerships project type and supported by the Turkish National Agency for the EU Presidency, was held on 1-2 August with the participation of all partners.
While a joint discussion was held on all outputs of the project, dissemination activities that should be continued after the completion of the project were also discussed.
The "Sustainability Statement" was signed, which also includes the partners' intention to use and disseminate the project outputs and to work together in future projects.
After the closing meeting of the project, the Final Conference was held on 3 August 2023 as the dissemination activity of the project. At the conference, the titles of the "Training Needs Survey Final Report for the Railway Engineering Disciplines", which were made within the scope of the project, were introduced, and the training needs that emerged as a result of the survey were presented to the participants. In addition, within the scope of increasing the recognition of the profession, the "Railway Engineering Certification" report was explained in detail to the participants.
